Car clamped

So, I ignored a couple private parking fines I’ve received over the last few months. Now my car has been clamped by “Marston Recovery” this morning.

Just want to know what my options are now as I have no clue on what to do. Appreciate all the help.

WHO issued the 'private parking fines'?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

One was from Uk Car parking management, which got passed on to Debt recovery plus. The other I’ve forgotten where it came from but I just know it got passed onto Trace debt recovery.

I cant see Marston's being involved or clamping a vehicle due to separate PCNs from 2 different private parking companies, especially for less than £600, the high court threshold , in either case, especially if the PCNs were ONLY issued this year

Seems more like a council charge or something else entirely  (. Council, TfL , Dart , no road tax , etc. ?  )

AIUI, Marston Recovery have contracts for DVLA for enforcing VED.  Is the clamp definitely related to parking, or is there VED overdue?

Yep, this is nothing to do with a private PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You shouldn't be ignoring private or LA PCNs these days. Mainly, read signs and if in doubt, leave the place.
