Duplicate Government Gateway account and self assessment - Help

As an aside, I have 2 accounts. One for PAYE and one for self-assessment. HMRC told me I had to.
On the self-assessment one, I have a pile of other things though - corporation tax, VAT, PAYE (as an employer) and all sorts.

Sorry.  You may need to call HMRC.

I don't know if anything on this page might be a solution if you can't get hold of a human being

Same here. Maybe the two accounts will be merged in the future when Gov Gateway login is migrated to Govt One login.

I just went through the process of deleting a second Government Gateway account, which I created unnecessarily.

To delete the second account, select: "profile and settings", "sign-in details", "your government gateway profile", "delete my government gateway id"
