Any roofing experts out there?

We had some work done on our roof last year - to replace lead on join between main roof and underlying extension. The wall beneath has started to get damp again - on visual inspection it looks like there has been some slippage between the new felting tray and the new lead. (Also shouldn't the felting tray extend to the ends? Anyone able to offer any advice? Would prefer to do this ourselves rather than get roofers back...

Any eaves support tray (felt support tray) should run the full length of the eaves.

The lead under the eaves does appear to have dropped, and isn't showing any signs of damage which suggests that it was not fixed property to the eaves.structure. I'm not an expert, but I expect you will find guidance on how the lead should have been fixed in this document: Calder-GTGLW-210213.pdf (calderlead.co.uk)

The lead on the side wall is also not correct. You are right not to want to get the roofers back. The lead soakers should have been installed UNDER the tiles not over them. There are plenty of YouTube videos on how to do it correctly.

You don't use soakers on single lap tiles. Nowadays you can get a secret gutter to go under the tiles to do a similar job, but the cover flashing should be dressed over the top of the tiles.

So perhaps there is a secret gutter under the tiles and this is ok.

Possibly, but looking at their lead work I'd doubt it.

Thank you for your replies. Wasn't planning on doing anything to the side lead - sounds like that might be a bit much for DIY.
