What recourse is there for me now?

Yeah I know, you are right, its just so hard to stay cool when we are so strapped for money. Some kid in school pinched my sons shoe last Monday and threw it on the roof and the did nothing when my son reported it, the caretaker went on the roof 3 days later and the shoe was gone - we have had gales all week, he even got a detention cos he was in his gym trainers not shoes!!!! Needless to say I jumped up and down over that one and the school have said sorry for not dealing with it sooner etc etc but schools just hand out apologies not shoes, it just makes me so mad.
And yes part of me 'knows' lol that they have strung another line more so over the Novembers money rather than the one thats due 19th jan.
Also when I worked things out and looked at my paperwork I think the DEO did start in June or rather the letter I had to provide to the council said that a DEO was in place and I will get payment after 18th June but it didnt come until the end of July, so I think there is a payment missing.
What do you think about me starting the 'official' ball rolling myself re the delay of approx 6 months in assessing - the interim payment was £320 the actual assessment they forgot to do was £560, the fact that the employer is dragging its heels etc Or should I wait to see what the outcome of the AMs letter to Peter Hain will do (is he the minister still?)
My logical mind tells me to leave it to the AM but my bank balance tells me the quicker I get sorted the better.
Its just all a mess0 -
If you mentioned it all to the AM, then they will get it sorted quicker than if you do it yourself!0

Ok, I'll leave it to the Am then, many thanks for all your help0

Hellooooooo, me again.
Good news and bad news - the good news is the complaint has hit the CSA and I now have a complaints officer. The other bit of good news that CSA now see that I am 2 payments short. More good news, I didnt realise that it was a £500 fine for each payment made ON TOP of what they should send, I thought it was instead of.
Bad news is - Decembers money isn't in either and yes the employer is still avoiding CSA, but they have until tomorrow to respond to the warning letter and then its going to go to the compliance dept whatever that may be!0 -
Good - they are on the case! the compliance team will contact the employer and give them a chance to pay up, otherwise they will visit the employer. If they don't pay up there and then, then they will apply for Court proceedings to be taken - not many get this far because they do tend to pay up.0

Yes thats what happened last time they had a face to face.
The debt enforcement man at the CSA said that this time he will ask the compliance team will not close the account as they usually do when they get payment he will ask for it to stay 'live' for a while so that if the employer slips back into its old ways it doesnt have to go through the referral process again.
He aslo said that now I have an official complaints officer it will move along a bit quicker cos they like to shift complaints quickly, makes the stats look good I expect lol
I do hope it comes through because NRP likes to change job and forget to tell the CSA where he is, which means months of tracing etc
Thanks for taking the time to reply to me, I do tend to panic and its nice to have a listening ear the other end of the pc :-)0 -
Hellooooooo me again.
Had a very interesting call yesterday. He was another complaints guy (different to the other one who is on the case) and he informed me that they have been studying my case and I am (as of 19th Jan) 3 payments short. One of them was sent back by the CSA in error!!!!! - That gobsmacked me!!
This fella said he has spent a lot of time on the phone to the employer and it is now agreed by all parties that I am owed these payments, They cant shed any light on December payment, they claim to have sent it out on the 14th Jan. They have promised to send the missing payments.
Criminal compliance now also have the case which according to the complaints fella will be escalated??? Whatever that means I am not sure.
He also told me that there is a full breakdown of amounts etc on its way to me. He is investigating why it took CSA so long to do the assessment after the interim assessment. At which point I told him that I will be wanting the payment that puts me in the position I should be in but for their delay, he said he will look into it.
I also named the person who would not ring the employer and stated that had he just made a quick call before Christmas then we would have known there had been an error with the Novembers payroll and these proceedings could have started 3 weeks sooner.
I have his name and number and have been invited to ring him at anytime for updates. He was about to start writing back to my MP with an update and said he will copy the letter on to me.
So i think that this all sounds like good news, I still wont hold my breath cos like I said to this new complaints chap, the employer has said all this before, but he also said that now the Criminal team have the case then we stand a bit more chance.
Fingers crossed0
