Window replacement claim following an fire

I had a fire at my property. Window firm instructed by the insurance company. Came to replace one window way beyond repair(which didn't happen due to needing a lintel, hope I don't have to pay for that)
But the other window damaged they cleaned but I've noticed not all of the smoke damage have fully been removed and there's a few slight burn marks from the falling hot ashes. Should the insurer be replacing this as it's in worse condition now than before the fire happened? Window wasn't best condition anyway prior to the fire but it's definitely worse.

I would say yes they should make good. In an Ideal world it would be replaced, but I don't think that will happen. Also the window they're replacing doesn't match any of the other windows in my house.0

Some additional cleaning perhaps and not replacement. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0

They ought to make good, and return you to how it was before the fire. If they can't, they should replace it. So I'd raise it with them by email, submitting the photos you have shared here, and/or in person when they come to replace the other window (if it is a different contractor they may be motivated to report back the damage, so that they can get the extra work).
