As reported on Contestor Legal Services with an interesting twist, (issue no 4), on failing to sign a claim form with your full name. (Most CEL claims seemed to be signed "S Wilson").

No proper breakdown of the charges or losses etc
That failure regarding signing the form mentioned above
Sloppy submissions, probably by a paralegal, even though ex wonga S Wilson should be giving proper oversight
It never ceases to amaze me that legal departments or companies fail to comply with the CPRs or the laws, or both5 -
The S Wilson point needs adding to all CEL defences where the claim was filed in-house.
How have we missed this?

I've often wondered and sometimes questioned, why legal firms can get away with signing "A Law Firm" rather than Peregrine Ffarquharson Smythe working for "A Law Firm", sometimes going to the lengths of changing the font to make it look like script/handwriting!6
