How do I cap a Domed fence panel?

I ordered some Domed fence panels and when they arrived it was without a capping rail on the top.
I have seen many Domed feather edge panels like this but I wonder if I could add on capping for extra protection.
After looking in the diy stores it seems like the rails won't bend or could snap if I try to glue them on the top.
Any advice please?

It is possible to get wood to go round a curve. It needs either steaming or soaking in hot water. Then clamped round a former and left to dry. You'll find the wood takes a "set", and can then be nailed/screwed to your fence panel.Make the radius of your former a little tighter than the fence panel, and that should account for any spring in the wood you are bending.Used this method to bend some moldings to go round a curve at the top of my staircase. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.2 -
No idea if it is available but can you get green wood that would be easier to mould as in method above.0

Try a local fencing company which manufactures its own fencing. They may be able to provide the capping you need. If you can get the capping it will need to be nailed or screwed on, not glued.
