How will earnings affect my JSA?

Hi, I got a morning's work in London. I got paid 400 pounds though half of this was lost in travel and overnight accommodation. I claim JSA and understand that I will lose my entitlement for that week but that the claim should still be open. Am I right

Advise Job Centre and they complete a sheet to advise JSA, so the one off income is counted against relevant benefit week, so you lose entitlement to benefit for that week. But claim will continue.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.1
