I contacted Octopus 10 days ago when I saw they were helping people loosing WFA
They rang me on Wednesday this week and went through my income and expenditure took about 25 mins
I was told a decision would be made within the week
Today I received an email advising I had been awarded and credited to my account £100 plus a 6 month holiday on daily standing charges.
I am amazed and delighted

Did they ask about savings? or was it just about income?

Just income didn't ask about savings but I declared a small amount of housing benefit so maybe that was whyHillStreetBlues said:Did they ask about savings? or was it just about income?2 -

After loosing the WFA octopus emailed about benefit checks, I know I'm not eligible for pension credit due to small works pension.
I completed their income and expenditure over the phone.
10 days later my account has been credited with £100 and shortly a 6 month standing charge holiday.
Amazed and delighted0
