Morning everyone
It was wild when I woke up but has calmed down a bit and has stopped raining. I had a very long and very late chat with little one last night when I had just got into bed. She's decided she'd like her kitten to stay at my house with me and my cat in case they miss each other. She'll see her most weekends anyways and we think she's worrying in case she has to go back to hospital, so as DD said we will just agree with her and if she decides later she wants her back well she can go back. It's one less thing for DD to worry about...I have said she will become and outdoor/indoor cat though as I always think it's nicer for them to be allowed a run round outside and she sees my cat going out. It was a very funny conversation and it was so lovely to hear her happy again that DD and I just let her talk and talk...we ended up on the topic of her Christmas list which apparently includes a Wii for the TV. Another thing I should have kept - we had loads of games and accessories. DD doesn't like her using devices so this is a compromise - and DD will enjoy playing with her on it.
She told me she really didn't like the 'different hospital' when I asked why she said ' Oh granny I have a long list of reasons!'  DD and I both burst out laughing.
So I best get on as I said I'd call in and see them for an hour before work - she wants her homework as well as a cuddle.
Dad isn't getting home till Monday now, I might have said that already.

Morning all

The sun is out for the moment but more rain due later, it rained most of the day yesterday and got very cold and windy.

I will get the dogs out for a walk shortly and then I have to take little pup for her jabs she is a nervous little thing and hates going but it has to be done.

Dinner tonight will be gnocchi with salad and hm garlic bread, dd has worked two night shifts in a row but she did get to sleep last night so she will be shattered and in need of a good dinner, her young man is coming tonight but I think they will stay in.

DP1 I am so glad little one is home xx

@weenancyinAmerica Thanks for the offer of help.  I forgot about the familysearch.org website and that has brought the info I need up quite quickly while other websites seem to struggle with what I'm looking for so thank you for that!

Went out shopping earlier and it wasn't raining, came out of supermarket and it was pouring and hasn't stopped as yet and it's expected to be on and off all day and windy too.  Oh happy days!

@dp1 glad to hear the good news about your DGD, you must all be so relieved and you have another lodger to boot!

Morning all, just. It's cold here today with a bitter wind but it's stopped raining which is a bonus. We were out early this morning as Mr Fix It had a date with the vampire nurse and as he was a good boy I let him take me to our fav GC for coffee 😂 Sadly no cake or breakfast was purchased because I got on the weighing scales yesterday and frightened myself, now we're both back on the diets. I did treat myself to a new reed diffuser at the GC, one of the xmas ones called "Starry Night " but I'm going to use it now as I like the aroma. On the way home I called in a small shop to buy milk, just enough to last us until the next shop and now I'm home the wm is on again, fingers crossed the washing will dry a bit in the cold wind. This afternoon I will be doing more sorting and put away our summer clothes.
