Can anyone advise me please. I am selling some investment property but wissh to wait until after April 6th 2008 to benefit from the reduced rate of CGT. Does anyone know if CGT is applied on exchange of contracts or completion. If it is on the latter, I can exchange contracts pre- April 6th. Obviously dont want to do this until I am sure that I wont be liable for CGt at the pre Apriil rate. Thanks
