My wife has a Santander credit card account for which I have a second card. Santander have told us that purchases made on my second card are not protected under Section 75. Is this the case for all or other credit cards?
Thanks

Its not that straight forward... for S75 to apply there must be a perfect triangle of Debtor (your wife), Creditor (Santander) and the Supplier, it cannot have any other parties and cannot be broken.geezermate said:My wife has a Santander credit card account for which I have a second card. If she is the contracting party, the person you're buying from is the supplier and you just happen to get your card out quicker than her then S75 would apply. If the invoice was in your name or you were buying from an agent etc then S75 wouldn't apply.
For many things you dont draw up an invoice or a contract and thus its assumed to be the person paying0
