Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice please.
TLSS : I visited my mother in law to help her out during Covid. I paid to park initially. however I completely forgot about the time and must of arrived back at the car no longer than 20 minutes after my paid time. It was in a very small car park and there were still tons of spaces left (not that I think this means anything for my defence)
Ive read the newbies thread. However I'm now struggling with what to write for Paragraph 3 and if I even have an acceptable defence case?
Could someone also confirm when my AoS time is as well please?

With a Claim Issue Date of 19th September, you have until Tuesday 8th October to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 22nd October 2024 to file a Defence.That's almost four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.1 -
Just use the Template Defence as you see in all the other DCB Legal / Euro Car Parks claims at the moment.
They are litigating a huge batch. We have 2 or 3 exact match threads like yours each day, so go back and scroll through the forum to read a good half dozen or more. Learn how people worded their paragraph 3. Copy!
Very easy to see these claims off. No hearing needed. DCB Legal will discontinue in 2025.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
