September is a great time to talk about the impact of the fashion industry with National campaigns like ‘Second Hand September’ and ‘Sustainable Fashion Week’ running. 👕👗👖

Around 8-10% of global carbon emissions come from clothing! That can easily be changed and can help save people money as well as save the planet 🌍✌💷  The easiest way to help reduce this is to reuse clothes, either by donating or selling them on. 

Gloucestershire Recycles want to help Gloucestershire residents by offering them the chance to win one of two £50 gift vouchers from The charity shop gift card to make second hand shopping even easier. To enter, simply complete our short questionnaire about second hand shopping below.

1. You must be 18 years or older to enter.
2. Entrants must live within Gloucestershire to enter and delivery address of the prize must be within Gloucestershire. Entrants outside of this area will be disqualified. 
3. This prize draw is free to enter.
4. This prize draw runs from midday 2nd September 2024 to midday on 31st October 2024. Entries outside these dates will be disqualified. 
5. The prize draw winners will be drawn at random after the prize draw has closed. This is completed using a random formula in a spreadsheet in the presence of two employees of Gloucestershire County Council (GCC).
6. There are two prizes available. These will be given to [number of entrants/winners] different entrants who are selected at random as above.  There are two prizes available, there will be two winners and each winner will win a £50 charity shop gift card. 
7. No cash, or other, alternatives are available but GCC reserve the right to substitute the advertised prize for another of equal or greater value should the original become unavailable.
8. GCC reserve the right to re-draw the prize if the winner cannot be contacted within 30 Working Days from the closing date.
9. The winners will be notified that they have won the competition via email to the email address provided on entry to the prize draw. 
10. The winners will be asked to take part in publicity, but they are not obliged to take part. 
11. Gloucestershire County Council reserves the right to cancel or amend this prize draw due to events arising beyond its control. 
12. Entrants will only be contacted regarding the specific prize draw they have entered. 
13. By entering this prize draw, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
14. The promoter of this prize draw is Gloucestershire County Council, whose decision regarding any aspect of this prize draw shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. None of the above affects your rights under the Data Protection Act 2018 concerning your personal information.
