Hi all

It is clear after a couple of recent 'incidents' at my families company there is now a genuine requirement for the company to employ a company that specialise in Employment Law.  We have no idea where to start so started with Google.  The first suggestion was a company that claim the have thousands of excellent reviews on Trust Pilot, however...After checking their 'bad' reviews on Trustpilot and then their 'supposed' excellent reviews it is clear their reviews are fake and so the search starts again.  With this in mind can anybody suggest a reputable Employment Law company? Maybe some of you have used a firm that is reputable and delivers what they say.
Thanks all

Do you know a solicitor of any sort that you trust?  They might be able to recommend someone who specialises.

There are specialist employment law solicitor practices. Should be at least one in your vincity. Go and meet them.

Croner offer updates on a subscription basis covering a range of legal areas. I believe if you subscribe, you can then pay extra for advice on your specific problem. You'll also be able to access templates for necessary documents.

And there are others offering similar solutions.

However, if you've got active issues, I agree that a local practice might be a better idea. And if you have a trusted accountant, or as suggested a legal contact for other areas, ask them for recommendations.

I agree with @Savvy_Sue, go to the professionals you already have contacts with, such as accountants.
You could try an HR consultancy, but you would, no doubt, have to go through them and pay for their time, as well as the time spent by a lawyer, but it might be worth it as they should be dealing with employment law lawyers on a regular basis, as well as having a certain amount of expertise in their own right.

This would be my choice because as well as the relevant law there are rules and procedures that an HR consultant can guide you through.
