Private parking fine - Have a nice carpark ltd

Hi

I have received two fines from Have a nice carpark LTD.  I had paid for parking but the ringgo app auto selected my old car registration. I appealed via the website provided on the letter. I also checked the company and it appears to be registered with the international parking community but t is not registered with BPA. I followed guidance on this site which said to appeal with the independent appeals service ( their logo is also on the Notice to keeper which I have received in the post ) However, when entering the parking charge reference it states 'Your PCN or Registration Number has not been recognised. Please try again.

Please Note: If you have had your appeal rejected and you have been told to enter your appeal on this site but keep receiving this message; please contact the operator that issued the charge for assistance.

The IAS will not have the information to assist you at this stage.

Operator Contact Details can be found at IPC AOS members .'

The link provided gives an error message.

If my appeal to the company directly is refused, do I have to pay this parking fine? I have tried to contact the company directly but all numbers went to full voicemail boxes

Thanks in advance for any support with this

You have definitely NOT received any fines from a private parking company. ( Magistrates issue fines, not private parking companies. )

You have actually received 2 invoices, from a private parking company, parking charge notices , PCNs

The general advice here is do not appeal to the IAS if the parking company rejects the appeals

The IAS stage is unavailable until after the appeals are rejected , hence why you can't appeal to the IAS

There is no legal requirement to pay the invoices, unless a judge says so in court

    Never phone them
  • I did also try via ringgo app and thought it was dodgy as the app told me that the parking charge reference was not long enough. It is 1 letter followed by 5 digits. Ringgo said it needed to be 8 to be legitimate.

    Thank you

Completely ignore them and please don't show us the £170 threatograms over the coming months!  See the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread.

You must contact them if you move house, of course, but that's common sense. That is all unless you ever get a court claim. Won't happen and defendable if it does.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
