Just felt relieved to see Nanny posting and realised I hadn’t posted either ,roughly the same reasons
RL has been a bit meh and had nothing cheerful to say .
Anyway ,I’m now in the midst of even more chaos as I’m having a new gas central heating boiler and it’s been brought down from the loft to the kitchen ,now in the 7 th day and there is stuff everywhere ,I just didn’t realise what a huge job it is ,just glad I didn’t leave it any longer as if I’d been much older I wouldn’t have coped ( not sure I am now )
I’m compiling a quiz for a group I belong to. Have done them before ,but this seems to be stressing me out even more .
Have had the huge hedge cut which cost a lot ,but has to be done .
sorry for a tale of woe10 -
Afternoon all
It turns out that there are very few places in our area that do meals on a Monday evening - the Blue Anchor being one of them. Hence hasty rethink and a trip to one that did. Little bruv most put out as he had a hankering to go to is old watering hole, so I took pity and we called in after our meal. The place was dead. Apparently because they don't do meals on a Monday the clientele all come in early, drink to capacity and then b off. It now shuts at 9 on a Monday as there is nobody there. The village pub was exactly the same as he called in there too ( There is a theme here) and there was on other chap and the landlord! Crazy. but the weather had been atrocious.
He' has gone back home to Crewe now via Ludlow as there's a butcher there who apparently 'does the best faggots'!
Just plodding on with everything else now.
Hugs and spoons as always
nice to see Taff and nan back in the fold.

Made it home, no long hold-up at the RABT. My hygienist appointment went well, again I had the power-wash treatment (mostly because I asked for it) so am happy. It costs extra but it's so much better than having that sharp implement scraping at teeth. On the way out I picked up a couple of free tubes of toothpaste, the small ones, and had a conversation about the merits of each brand. Turns out that as long as it contains fluoride they'll all do the job. Then I amused the young'ish hygienist and her nurse with a rendition of the Pepsodent advert from what seems like 100 years ago! It's funny how it has stuck in my mind for all these years.I popped into the coachworks on the way home to let the chap see my car rather than rely on the photographs I sent. It's been confirmed that it'll need a new door as 'something...something..something..' has been bent as well as the crunching. He was sure that I won't have to wait too long. Then I visited the large M&S foodhall for a few things, didn't need too much as I bought vegs and a big bag of green lentils at the Indian shop close to the dental surgery.7

Hello everyone
Sorry I'm late today. I slept in this morning - not much point in having 3 alarms set if you switch them all off and go back to sleep! I ended up in a rush as I needed to go into town to collect a prescription before work. I have antibiotics and steroids for a chest infection so hopefully they'll start working soon.
We had a new member of staff start at work today, she's really nice and got on well with the children, so fingers crossed it will work out well. It's a long while since we had someone new, so a bit strange for us all to start with.
Little one is doing a lot better....I know you'll all be pleased to know. Yesterday she was being fed into her bowel instead of into her veins through her port and then today she has seen her consultant and is now on a glucose feed into her stomach. She has also been eating small amounts of food and hasn't been sick at all.
She may have to use her feeding pump when she comes home, it just depends on how much actual food she is eating. The consultant doesn't know why things went wrong with her stomach again, but has a plan now that if it happens again DD can start feeding her into her bowel instead of her stomach and phone the hospital, rather than taking her straight in. It all sounds very complicated when I read it back, it's a good job DD knows what she's doing!
Nice to see Taff and Nan back today. Taff yes she's keen to see her little kitten...well a lot bigger kitten now. Kitten won't can go home if little one is still on her feeding pump though, as last time she bit straight through the tube!
Right I need to wash up. See you all tomorrow x

Hi everyone.
Just a quick one from me to say it's nice to have taff and Nanny back.
Esther day today but a bit of juggling with people going off in different directions. She's got such a rich imagination it's easy to occupy her.
This afternoon I went with Laura to a hospital appointment upshot being that she needs a minor op which should happen in the next few months.
Good news dp1. Sorry your dB was disappointed Mehefin, the pubs round here don't serve food on Mondays either.
Have a good evening.4
