Hello, does anyone have recommendations for online sites to buy remanufactured printer cartridges (it's for a fairly old printer)? How can you tell whether or not they're legitimate sites, selling legitimate products? Any sites to avoid? Thank you!

I use stinkyink for all my printer consumables, i am more than happy with them, better than buying from amazon etc.

We like https://refreshcartridges.co.uk/our-guarantees.html. Stinky inks, refresh and First Call Inks all get good which writeups, in the top 5 in Which magazine3

Another vote here for Refresh Cartridges, they are local to me so I go in to the shops but they also do free delivery if you live elsewhere. I only ever use the remanufactured cartridges and find that the results are just as good as with genuine cartridges but a fraction of the price.1

Have been using Valueshop for years.

Might try the others suggested. Not sure if makes much difference when it comes to remanufactured ink cartridges.
I do know the black doesn't seen to last very long with light, infrequent use in my Canon printer.

This has come at the right time for us, as we are also in need of ink at the moment, and are sick of the ridiculous prices generally charged.
Thanks all for your suggestions.1 -
Fionaandphil. Thanks for the tip regarding Refresh Cartridges. I've just ordered from Refresh after my ex-go-to-printer supplier increased a full set of larger capacity compatible inks from £10.99 to £37.90, citing of all things, Covid! Refresh sold them for £10.47, less expensive than the pre Covid prices of my original supplier. That's a 35 year loyal customer they lost, maybe they want to wind down the business.1

I hope you find them good quality. We've used them for years and the ink seems to last well. Only had a problem once and when we contacted them they sent a replacement which was there the next day. Happy printing!
