Hi all, I’m looking at getting a cheap funeral plan for me & the wife,we’re both in our 70’s & reasonably good health. Co op is £1750, celebration of life is £1400 p/p. I’ve read the T&c’s & seems to be kosher with protection by financial services.
What concerns me is, trustpilot has 5 stars but only 48 votes?
TIA
Paul

Why does that concern you? Wouldn't it be more worrying if they had hundreds of votes but only 1 star?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

I have no knowledge of the service offered by either company but bear in mind there can be a lot of variation even between direct cremation services. Local organisations (and I suspect coop and other local funeral directors will offer this type of service) will keep the deceased locally and use a local crematorium.  Some National organisations may move the deceased hundreds of miles for storage and cremation as they will tend to use a large hub. Just something to bear in mind what the surviving spouse may find easier to accept.

Contact your local funeral himes and find out what they provide at what cost.
