Have I been accepted for CapitalOne or getting my hopes up?

I just yesterday signed up for a Capital One Classic Balance Transfer Card after being preapproved through clearscore, I have very little credit history aside from phone payments and a small overdraft and some Klarna PI3 payments, I have been denied quite regularly on soft searches for most credit cards so was super surprised when Capital One instantly accepted me with a £300 limit as I've never had a card before.

The year prior I was preapproved for a lloyds card but then texted a day before the card arrived to be told that after checking they decided to close the account and to dispose of the card arriving, due to this I am worried Capital One may also do the same after as I cannot yet see any hard searches on my credit file by them.

I have been sent a slew of "Your account has been setup" emails along with a "your card and pin has been posted to you" emails, I haven't been told that my application is under review or anything but I am still worried they might turn me down before my card arrives, does anyone have experience with CapitalOne? What should I expect? A denial due or am I okay?

Capital one is a sub-prime lender so it's believable that you have bern approved with a tiny limit

Not sure why you want a balance transfer card if you have no other cards.

    Other subprime cards are available

Mostly got it as it was the only card I was preapproved for through clearscore, looking to keep it for a year and pay balance in full every month to build credit and move to a better card with perks after the initial year

You'll be fine, Capital One definitely aren't picky. I went insolvent a few years back owing them over a grand and they accepted me last year giving me a grand credit limit :D
