Cheap energy club predictions lower than current supplier

Welcome to the forum.Ignore estimates, do the sums yourself based on actual meter readings (smart, your own or meter reader's) taken 12 months apart.Make sure you're using the October tariffs.1

At a guess, it could be that Eon is using a different estimated number of Kwh for either gas or electric or both (assuming you have both) for your annual consumption than the cheap energy club website is using. As the poster Gerry1 suggests, do a recalculation yourself based on the exact tariff prices.Indecision is the key to flexibility1

Compare unit rates and standing charges.
If SC similar - comparing unit rates might be enough.
But doing the total yourself with same annual consumption often the only way to be sure.
EOn in past have used a slightly higher figure when checked for estimating future bills (and so direct debits) than the rolling 12m figure on my monthly statements.
Never enough for me to worry - and I used to build 10% into my DD estimates anyway - and set myself pre epg and ebss - still running off £100 of ebss credit.
Given last winter was abnormally mild in my part of UK (EMids) - my total power about 10% below previous min of last 5 years - they might be doing so again.0 -
Thank you so much for your advice Gerry1, anniecave and Scot_39.1
