All weather outdoor laundry drying?
I've just come across a way of drying clothes outside when it's raining
that may save on the drier bills (and/or condensation build up from using airers inside) and wondered if anyone had tried anything similar?
Irish style Lennon driers: https://thecarlowyard.com/all-weather-clothes-lines-with-free-nationwide-delivery/
Scottish Shieling style: https://www.shielingdryer.co.uk/index.php

They're quite expensive to buy (and not the prettiest when living in a more urban area with close neighbours overlooking). Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to DIY something similar? I think getting the cross ventilation right will be the most difficult bit

Not sure would want that in the garden.
Cost of them pays for a hell of a lot of tumble drying or heating & dehumidifier use.
MSE option, pop down to supermarket & use trolly storage area 🤣Life in the slow lane5 -
Hideously unsightly (why not green all over?). Might be fine if there's a brief shower on a sunny summer's day, but I wonder how much drying you'd get on a winter's day with continuous rain.0

I use my green house with a couple of washing lines rigged up inside and also enough room for a big airier.2

would take up a lot of space and I thought it looked like a bus shelter.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £32,226.972

Who wouldn't want a bus shelter/smoking area/trolley park in the garden?
As for the teepee, thank goodness rain fall is always completely vertical.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
I'll stick to the airers in the bathroom with a dehumidifier in the room.

'quite' expensive? Maybe the Shieling one, in context. The Lennon one's price literally made my jaw drop.1
