Entering username and password on the first page works. On the second page whether SMS or phone call is chosen it gives an error page "Page not available"

Thanks for this. I tried to login to the Coventry BS website today and the 2FA still isn't working. I don't have the app, so unless I download it just to check a single transfer that I've made has arrived safely into one of my Coventry saving accounts I guess there's nothing else I can do. I'm surprised there's not more urgency about fixing this - has Coventry acknowledged the problem and said they are working on it?expansion said:2FA on website is down. App is fine.0 -
Scrap that - I just tried to log in using incognito mode and it worked ok. One of my browser extensions must be blocking access somehow. But I've never had problems before. EDIT TO ADD: It was my Adblock Plus extension. I've disabled it now and I can log in ok with 2FA on the website.SonOfPearl said:

It was the Adblock Plus extension on my Chrome browser that was causing the problem.Aidanmc said:hoc said:Entering username and password on the first page works. On the second page whether SMS or phone call is chosen it gives an error page "Page not available"

@SonOfPearl Try another browser. I'm getting this problem on FirefoxExactly the same thing happened to me last week, just tried to log in again with Chrome, even in incognito with adblock disabled it wouldn't work this. It all works OK with the Edge browser, apparently they know about this issue and it started after a recent update on their website, Chrome & Firefox are the two browsers worse affected.1 -
I was briefly able to login on Chrome after disabling Ublock Origin, but then I started getting the error again and I can't login on either Firefox or Edge. I get the error message after entering the OTP they sent me. Any ideas?0

Hi Just spent ages on the phone with Coventry. She told meFirefox is not supported any more!! It says it is not secure!!! Which is a stupid reason since firefox is one of the most secure browsers.It is written in the help section but quite well hidden;
For the best experience online, we recommend that you use these browsers for both our website and for Online Services:
Desktops and tablets:
- Microsoft Edge – latest version
- Google Chrome – latest version
- Safari – latest version
Mobiles:
- Safari for iOS – latest version
- Google Chrome – latest version
They may work on other browsers, but there might be certain things you can’t do if you use a browser that isn’t supported.
Always use the latest version of your browser – it’ll help to keep your information safe from online security threats.
You can find links to the most up-to-date browsers here: www.gov.uk/help/browsers.
