How to watch a TV show with multiple seasons in order on Prime?

I don't really watch much on Prime & when I do it tends to be the odd movie here or there.
Right now I'm in to Reacher though & have got on to season 2. Rather annoyingly & unlike [my usual] Netflix, 'Watch next' or whatever they call it keeps taking me back to season 1. I have to manually select the season 2 episode that I want to watch which while not end of the world, it is pretty annoying that they can't just simply play the next episode after the one I previously watched.
Is there some kind of setting I'm missing?

Yep, There’s an autoplay on there somewhere. Couldn’t tell you where though because I don’t have prime at the moment.Have you tried Amazon FAQs?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I always let the next episode start and then immediately halt it. Next time you go in it comes up with "continue watching"0

I paid more attention last night.
If I hit resume then it keeps taking me back to the final episode of season 1.
I'm now on about episode 4 of season 2.0 -
If you have Season 1 on your watchlist but not season 2, and you are looking at your watchlist, then it will show season 1. If you scroll to continue watching, it should carry on from where you were. You might need to remove S1 from your watchlist (but not the continue watching bit). Unfortunately the layout seems to vary from device to device so it's not always straight forward. I've watched loads of series on Prime and occasionally do get this problem.1

Amazon should have a great interface, but it's one of the worst tbh. I'm not sure if they don't care as they know it's only a secondary thing to the free delivery?0

I always think of the video on prime as an add on to the free delivery. I wouldn't pay for the TV service, it's not much good, but I want the delivery- I imagine many people feel the same. I would be interested to see the amount of people who are subscribed but are only using the free delivery.0 -

Each to their own. I actually put Netflix above Disney by an absolute mile.
But I agree - putting Prime at the bottom. I don't like how you have to pay to watch stuff on top of your paying subscription. That's like Netflix saying yeah we'll let you watch ABC but if you want to watch XYZ then you need to cough up some more. Not for me I'm afraid.
