Someone came in my drive with a car and left an oil stain. I noticed 24 hours later so I used lots of wash up liquid and laundry and a hard brush. Spent about 30 mins will this lift it? I am waiting for it to dry but will that do and will it weather in or with some rain now I put that down?

Arial biological washing powder will get some of the stain out. I've used Clarke Traffic Film remover (from Machine Mart) in the past. The formulation has probably changed since I last had a can. Just don't use either on a tarmac drive.

cat litter will absorb a lot of oil to help lift the stain.

Thanks it’s over the drain covers too. The was up liquid failed to work is it worth getting a patio cleaning company out to professional remove before I go lifting up slabs and drain covers?

Yes I read mixed reviews some say works some doesn’t. One person said new slabs may be only solution?

I've not used on driveway, but how about Gunk?
The engine degreaser stuff works well, so maybe the driveway one is as good?

I have used washing up liquid and small scrubbing brush on hands and knees. Takes a few attempts but removed it enough so that it weathers out after a while.

So I used fairy and laundry liquid being honest it doesn't look as wet and looks like half the stain is off. I've been offered patio cleaning but that's every slab I wonder if it's for half the stain off if I could keep trying to scrub I hope it lifts the rest? Maybe some weathering too? The drain covers may be more tricky any ideas for those?

Assuming the surface is suitable, we have always used Gunk.
