I initiate the payment every time. I thought there would be no charge with the refund but it still shows as i owe £50 charge (i just hope it gets sorted)General_Grant said:
So that minus is you being charged for the ticket.ALLEN1982 said:
It says - £50 train line (who i brought the tickets from) then on the 18th + £50 trainline.sheramber said:The debt doesn't disappear off your staatemnt. The refund adds the same amount as a credit on your card account .
I hope my bank sorts it when i get my next statement. I am quite panicking over it.
The plus is the refund to your account.
So -50 +50 = 0 (the result is no charge)
Of course, if you had a statement prepared between 2nd and 18th September then the +£50 refund will not appear on the statement. Do you normally pay your statement by DD in full or a lesser amount or do you initiate payment each time?0 -
Stop panicking (I know, easier said than done!).ALLEN1982 said:

There's nothing for your bank to 'sort'. The refund has already appeared on your statement on the 18th (+£50), so you know you've been refunded.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1
