Emmia said:I'd say that is on street parking. The car would not be off road and directly adjacent to your house, there is a road area in between the property and the car
You also couldn't SORN your vehicle if it was parked there. It would need to remain taxed and insured. The space is owned by the OP - shown in deeds, so I'd have thought it could be SORN there.Another vote for driveway from me, DullGreyGuy is a great font of knowledge on all things insurance, anyone know how to tag him in?
Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0 -
- Residential car park – car parking that’s laid out and designated by the local council for the use of residents (which isn’t on a road or in a locked compound.
That would seem to fit the situation.0 -

That would seem to fit the situation.
Also an odd definition to say it's "laid out and designated by the local council" when I'd expect most to have nothing to do with the council (and likely to be owned communally in some way by the residents)0 -
And OP has confirmed it is included on their deeds so another one for falling under driveway as the closest definition.0
