Error on paying into Chip
fly-catchers
Currently I am getting the error “Error something went wrong. Please try again” when using the connected bank transfer option on the Chip app. Could that be down to maintenance on either the bank or app? Have rebooted my iPad and tried several times without success. Worked yesterday.

Unsure what you hope to get from the forum - try contacting Chip if your problem persists.
EDIT: just to try and be useful - I'm an existing Chip customer with exiting connected account (Nationwide) and just successfully done a £1 test deposit to instant access account.0 -
I was having these issues yesterday, for around 2 hours Chip showed 2.3k transaction as credited.
But I had not finished the transaction.
It corrected itself.
Then I was able send it.
This morning I had no issues at all.
Just give it a while and try again.0 -
There are lots of moving parts to this system. Faster Payments are now an option if you have issues with Open Banking.
