Please tell me other people are noticing it too?
So many products have more water in, toothpaste used to be paste, now it sinks into the brush before you put it in your mouth. Sauces, shower gels, pump soap etc. are all much more watery and you have to use more.
I think we are all being robbed.

Tesco 4x concentrated lime cordial is as strong as it has always been. And I haven't noticed any change to the strength of Fairy Liquid. If in doubt... do nowt.0

Many products have moved from oil based ingredients to plant based which would give some of the characteristics you are seeing. Not necessarily cheaper ingredients or more water, but more sustainable and ethical..3

Tins of baked beans have gradually been getting more 'juice' and fewer beans for a while now it seems to me...
Oh, and I commented a few days ago that my toothpaste was runnier than the last lot.A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

I don’t know what toothpaste you are buying, but mine isn’t sinking into the toothbrush at all.And you could always stop buying hand wash and start buying bars of soap, which are more eco-friendly anyway because there’s not a lot of plastic to get rid of.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.4 -

Definitely noticed it with the Sainsbury's Stamford Street toothpaste and also has large air pockets, 100ml lasts little more than a week. I did a comparison with another 'brand' on g/ml and it was lower by a third.
Another Stamford Street product, tinned chopped tomatoes 400g seems a lot more watery in recent times.1 -
