    Yes, personal injury compensation is disregarded from means tested benefits for 52 weeks.

    Thanks ,there is some conflicting information online .. Some say it is disregarded only if it is held in a " trust" also would the Pension credit people need to be informed about the payout or will they automatically know ?

    PI are disregarded for 12 months from date of first payment , if put in a Trust then it's disregard indefinitely
