Section 75 - no receipt

Hi, looking for some advice,
I bought a floor for my house for just over £3k, and 95% of it has been fitted, but they are fobbing me off constantly with regards to coming back and finishing the job. (they need to do the trims)
I have an email trail showing that they are "passing me to the bookings dept" but nothing ever happens. The challenge is that the receipt has gone missing (i know it wasn't an itemised receipt either).
I obviously have the payment on my Credit card showing, and the e-mail trail, but i wanted to get advice on if there is a claim here worth making. £3k is ALOT of money for me to pay and i am really frustrated that i will have to dig into my own pocket to finish the job myself.
does anyone have any advice here on what i can do? or is it a case that i just have to swallow it up.
thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think the lack of a physical receipt will be a problem. You have evidence of the transaction and the contract. That should suffice.1

Have you had a quote from anyone else to finish the job?
Receipt isn't needed if you have a contract that stipulates what the work is... even a quote may do as long as the amount matches the transaction1 -

Do you have anything that lists a price breakdown, email invoice etc? As this could be a simple chargeback then for a partial non receipt of the trims cost.
S75 will need someone (maybe more) to give you a quote for the remaining work. That the CC might look at refunding at part.Life in the slow lane1
