How to 'Cover' Cable Feeds
I'm using 2 Storage Boxes for Multi Socket and Dual Socket leads,
Yet I'm still left with a few Cable feeds Booster etc.
Is there affordable Additional Corner Solution.

It can be as simple or as complicated as you like.

Cable tidy solutions are available, or you could just buy a bog standard cupboard/storage unit, shove it in the corner with the back off and hide all the cables that way.

I tend to be in favour of an extension lead and plugging everything into that - surge towers and what not.  These are fine for non power hungry devices so don't plug a vacuum cleaner into it - doesn't matter how many devices you have hanging off it, it can still only deliver a finite amount of power.

That's relatively tidy compared to some arrangements I've seen!

It helps if you coil the 'too long' cables and secure the coil with a cable tie or two, (or elastic bands etc), rather than just having them lying about like a plate of spaghetti.

    Thanks mser's
The 'Coil' advice could be used, I thought maybe a hardwood Shelf or MDF to Cover the Area.
It's lack of travel in some cables which makes it awkward, inc' incoming Cable feeds and 'Boosters'
I recall Cable person may have Auto left Additional Cable if I were to move tv unit.
p.s. 2X Current Storage Boxes 1st 'hides' 10 Socket Bank 2nd has 2 bank trailing Cable.
Those in use Boxes already hide immense ,amount of plugs and part hide leads.

  • That's a real mess, are you sure that's the most efficient way to connect everything together?
First thing to do is simplify your set up and get rid of any cables that aren't required.
Then, where possible shorten the leads. I would try and avoid coiling mains leads because that can create electromagnetic interference and heating problems.
What about buying a multi socket extension lead and wall mounting it?

    Maybe :)
I re checked found one no longer required long ethernet cable, replaced with shorter cable.
Maybe I should check retailers for suggested Cables Braiding.

    thanks

I need to re check if Cable Service could shorten their feed, I'm not sure how relevant their Booster box is now.
It was only added very early into 1gb service, seems much improved since I returned to 1gb.
The Multi Sockets are being used, though even if I purchase Single Tower (12) Hex seems visually smart,.
    I'll still have trailing leads.
I could return tv unit to corner 'Hiding' everything, though Soundbar Audio far exceeds Corner since unit directly in front of Viewing etc.
I'm not sure if WallMounting helps though can use if required with suggested Cable Covering,

Do not coil any mains cables as this causes heating and is a fire risk. Any signal cables (eg audio or analogue video) , you should exercise caution as they have a minimum bend radius below which damage will occur and also are susceptible to pick up interference if coiled.

Thanks I think the coiled effect is some of the coverings, I'm a believer in non kinked Cabling.
