If the car wasn't stolen - is there an issue as to how they classify it as long as they put it right? Can you explain the issue? No doubt they have to repair the bodywork by replacing the damaged panel, and that should put you back in your original position?0

Possibly only TPFT insurance so if they arev refusing attempted theft there is no Comprehensive element to make a claimcymruchris said:If the car wasn't stolen - is there an issue as to how they classify it as long as they put it right? You need to read your policy book, looking at direct line's it categorically states that the Theft section includes damage as a result of an attempted theft as well as a successful theft.Sam87 said:i have TPFT they putting as malicious damage as nothing stolen although clearly was attempt theft0
