Update - the lady inheriting the car got a quote of £6400 and that was the cheapest and third party with a £1500 excess. She also didn’t realise the road tax was over £600 a year.

People can and do run such cars as daily’s. Not people who’re currently running around in mid-spec Fiestas, however.4
