Can anyone tell me what the timescale is for the Gain/loss column in the HL watchlists please?

A pretty pointless conversation but what the heck... when you top-up it can go a bit skew-whiff. What is your base price then? I add the number of additional units I buy but don't change the unit cost, so if I buy one unit at £1 and ten units at £10, it still shows a 900% gain which of course is not what has happened to my overall holding.0
