• This Prize Draw is open to persons aged 18 years or over who are residents in the UK or Ireland. Proof of age and identity may be required. Entry to the Prize Draw is free.
• The Promoter is Attheraces Limited, a company incorporated in England with company number 03896585, whose registered office is at Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP.
• Employees of the Promoter and Ascot Racecourse are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
• Only one (1) entry per Prize Draw is allowed per person and no more than four (4) entries per household. If the Promoter has reasonable grounds to believe that multiple entries have been made by the same person, all entries by such entrant will be disqualified from participating in the Prize Draw or receiving any prize.
• Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Prize Draw. These terms and conditions will apply for the duration of the Prize Draw.
• The Promoter will use each entrant’s personal details for the purpose of administering this Prize Draw and will make the winner’s details available to Ascot Racecourse for the fulfilment of the prize.
• To take part in the Prize Draw an entrant must opt-in to the Prize Draw by ticking the “yes” tick box on www.attheraces.com and submit their name and email address prior to 23.00 BST on Sunday 29 September 2024.
• The Prize Draw prize winner will be determined at random.
• The prize comprises Qipco British Champions Day at Ascot Racecourse for the winner and 1 guest (both aged 18 years or over) on Saturday 19 October 2024. The day includes Winning Post Enclosure badges (with car parking and racecards) and a four course lunch at a shared table in The Furlong Restaurant (with a complimentary bar (excluding champagne other than as a welcome drink on arrival)) and afternoon tea. The prize does not include travel/transportation, souvenirs, gratuities or any other costs or expenses (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions.
• There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-endorsable. All components of the prize must be taken together.
• The winner will be notified by email on Monday 30 September 2024. It is each entrant’s sole responsibility to ensure that their contact details are up to date. The winner will be required to verify their age, identity, residence and other requested verification information to the satisfaction of the Promoter before they are eligible to receive the prize. Any public announcement (including on Attheraces’ platforms (TV, online etc.)) will be pending verification unless otherwise stated and should not be considered final confirmation.
• If any entrant is not able, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, verify their identity to the satisfaction of the Promoter, has been found to have breached these terms and conditions by the Promoter or cannot be contacted within 48 hours of determination of the winner and/or confirm their ability to use the prize within 48 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that entrant (and their eligibility to receive any prize under the Prize Draw) and award the prize to another participant, if applicable.
• Entry into the Prize Draw constitutes permission for the Promoter to use the names and photographs of participants for publicity purposes at their discretion. The winner may be required to participate in such publicity without further compensation as the Promoter reasonably requires.
• The Promoter shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected messages, unavailable network connections, failed incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, online failures, hardware, software or other communications failures or circumstances affecting receipt or entrants ability to participate in the Prize Draw or if any racing or any other event applicable to the Prize Draw is cancelled for any reason or any circumstances affecting a winner’s ability to access or use their prize. The Promoter is also not responsible for any act or default of any third party suppliers or for any reasons of Force Majeure.*
• Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives (nor the directors, employees or other representatives of its agents, sub-contractors or group companies) will be liable for damages, in contract, tort or otherwise including negligence, arising out of or in connection with the Prize Draw and/or the provision of the prize. You confirm that the Promoter shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to, suspension of or discontinuance of any or all of the Prize Draw. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property (including personal property) and claims of third parties.
• If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions are or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.
• Attendance at Ascot Racecourse is subject to further Terms and Conditions, full details of which can be found at https://www.ascot.co.uk/tcs-page/introduction and attendance policies, full details of which can be found here https://www.ascot.co.uk/ascot-policies. The prize winner and his/her/their prize companion must comply with the dress code applicable to the Winning Post Enclosure and must also comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements required by Ascot Racecourse, including, but not limited to, complying with public health protocols, where applicable.
• The Promoter’s decision is final and legally binding on all entrants in relation to all aspects of the Prize Draw including (without limitation) allocation of the prize and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with the Prize Draw’s rules or terms and conditions will be disqualified and will not be eligible to receive a prize.
• The Prize Draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

(*Force Majeure" means: a fire, flood, lightning, storm, earthquake or other similar geological or metrological event or condition or Act of God, Royal death, national emergency, disease, epidemic, pandemic, war, act of terrorism, riot or criminal act or damage, strike, lockout or other industrial action or any other event beyond the control of the Promoter and/or Ascot Racecourse).
