EDF smart meter repair

I'm currently waiting for EDF to repair the communications hub on my electricity smart meter. They've given me a couple uturns for the time being as they keep saying there aren't any appointments available. It now looks like I'll have to book an emergency appointment when my credit runs out. Has any one else ben in this situation and if so what happened?

    Are you able to pay for a top up online and get the UTRN number?

    If so, you should be able to enter the top up credit directly on the meter without the Comms Hub being operational :

  • No ever since they updated everyone's accounts that has stopped working
  • EDF has obviously made some right ****ups when doing the account "updates". In my case the Energy Hub in the on-line My Account "lost" all the data from before the "update" !!

    Hope you can get your problem sorted with a UTRN
  • Hey. I'm currently going through the same stuff. If I may ask, do you have any updates about the issue? Have you run out of credit yet? Mine has 1 GBP left, really looking forward to them solving it :smiley: Even though based on how they're handling the situation right now, I doubt anyone will come, let alone solve it.
