Hanley BS change of address warning

Just a warning to anyone who changes their address with the Hanley economic BS.
If you have more than one account, then even though online banking shows "your details" as having the correct address, when documents are viewed, then only one account may have had its address changed. This has happened to two of us.
I don't recall how we originally changed it last year, but suspect that it was via the online secure message sending. Secure messages have to be generated against an account number. We suspect that when the secure message was sent this triggered a change against that account only, despite the "your details" tab being updated.
This seems contrary to how all other banks operate and is particularly worrying for what is a branch account operated by post.

I'd make a complaint if you haven't done so already, they may give you a financial apology and rectify the issue. FWIW they gave me £25 last year when they took several weeks to change my nominated bank account and charged me a fee in error.1
