Octopus Smart Meter and MEM consumer units

Background: All electric flat with E7 heating and DHW. Built ca. 2000
Teleswitched complex meter with 4 readings and 2 MPANs. 2 of 4  are legacy unused boost circuit.
Three fuseboards.

Octopus have contacted re my meter upgrade and highlighted that their smart meter technology is prone to tripping this kind of fusebox.

I am assuming they will require me to upgrade the consumer units. Anyone have experience?

I'm not sure how we would coordinate the two but assume I sort the fuseboards then get them to rebook?

TIA

I am skeptical of the claim that a new meter will cause a consumer unit to trip. However, I would be asking Octopus to fit isolator switches after the meter so that the main fuse doen't have to be pulled should the CU ever be replaced.
Your average electrician is not qualified or permitted to pull the main fuse (not that it stops most of them). Having an isolator switch makes the task much safer.
