2015 air Mac just had disk  wiped out by computer shop. Now found out the keypad is faulty, a couple of letters not responsive. Can browse the internet but when double click on link. Get little showing instead of black cursor and went straight to lt side panel. See photos. Just wondering whether it’s worth repairing due to age. Thanks

Sorry, dont follow what the problem is you are having other than some keys are unresponsive?

Ultimately Apple will do a free quote for repairing the keyboard etc so as long as you aren't too far from a store its always worth booking an appointment and just seeing how much it would be... sometimes they'll offer discounts on replacements if its not cost effective to repair.

I assume it is actually the 2015 model and not just that you bought it in 2015? MBA 2014 and earlier is considered obsolete and so Apple themselves will no longer provide hardware servicing for them.

Was the keys working before you sent it to the repairer? The other obvious line if they were is to take it back to the repair shop saying they've returned it with broken keyboard that previously worked.

You only single click links when web browsing, not double click them

I guess not, that’s why I input my password couldn’t log in. The computer repair shop did not pick up that it was the keypads. I only find out when I ticked show password trying to connect to the internet, they were all in capital letters, lower case not working. Asked to have 50% back, he said no, he did some word. He did manage to remove the password but now I know why he could connect to the internet. It was due to fsulty keyboard. Guess time to get a new one.
