new extension and digital voice

I did try a completely new set of handsets
They still only work in the same parts of the house
As soon as the house was built the buyers decided to put on an extension, so one of the internal walls is actually an outside wall
This seems to be the problem
I have now cancelled the digital line and only use my mobile phone
Not what I wanted, but no option apparently

It's been a few weeks since I bought (off Ebay) a brace of BT Diverse 7 series cordless DECT phones which are connected to the green port on the back of my TP Link V230v router  - as supplied and configured by Idnet when I changed over to fibre (FTTP).

In that time they haven't exactly been over-worked but I've done a few test calls to the system and it's fine. The billing from Andrtews and Arnold, who provide the sewrvice, is flawless and hardly expensive at £1.44 a month. Plus any calls you might make.

I've configured the system to allow it to ring for 15 seconds and if unanswered to accept any "answerphone" message and to forward it to an email address which I nominated. This, too, works fine.

The fibre broadband is no problem at all, the phone is fine and all appears correct and in retrospect the swap wsasn't too traumatic at all.
