2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN Entrants will need to go online at HitsRadio.co.uk to register to play.

Entrants will only need to register once.

Each day from Monday 23rd September 2024 until Thursday 26th September 2024, we will choose two people to play. This will be by electronic random draw. We will also draw six finalist standby contestants, in the event that we cannot make contact with that days chosen players.

A producer or member of the Hits Radio team will attempt to contact the two players. If this is unsuccessful after two attempts, we will move onto the standby contestants.

Please note, we may make initial attempts to contact the contestants at any time during that days competition and will be pre-recorded for editing and quality control purposes.

The competition will be played out during the evening show, between 19:00-22:00 at a time announced by the presenter.

DAILY COMPETITION ROUNDS_MONDAY 23RD – THURSDAY 26th SEPTEMBER 2024

Each day the presenter will announce that days Channel 4 Reality TV show theme for the competition round, it will be a different show each day.  

We will take two contestants to air who will be asked a series of questions based on that days chosen Channel 4 Reality TV Show.  In order to answer the question, the contestant will need to firstly shout their name. The first contestant to shout their forename will then be able to answer the question.

The first contestant to score 2 questions correct will be deemed that days winner and awarded that days prize as detailed in section 5.

Each day the presenter will then ask the winning contestant if they want to gamble their prize for a place in Thursdays final, in order to win the trip to Australia.

If that days winning contestant does not want to gamble, they keep that days prize.

If that days winning contestant does want to gamble, they forfeit that days prize in order to go head to head with another contestant on Thursday 26th September.  

In the event that they lose in the final on Thursday 26th September, they will win nothing.

FINAL COMPETITION ROUND_THURSDAY 26th SEPTEMBER 2024 ONLY

On the Thursday final, we will bring to air the daily contestants who have opted to gamble their prize in order to try and win a trip to Australia.  

We will need to have at least two contestants (who have gambled their daily prize) in order to play in the Thursday final.  

If we only have one contestant from the daily winners who have gambled their prize to go through to the final, we will randomly choose a loser from Monday to Thursday to play. If we cannot make contact with the 1st chosen loser, we will repeat the process until we can make contact with a loser.  

If no daily winners want to gamble their prize, all four losers from across the week will play in the final. 

The chosen contestants will be asked a question in order to win the trip to Australia.  

The contestant who the presenter and producer deem the winner in the Thursday final, will win the trip to Australia as detailed in section five.  

*** Please note – if a daily winner who has gambled away their prize in order to attempt to win the trip to Australia, then loses in the final they will have forfeit their original prize ***

3. ENTRY PERIOD 

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:

From Tuesday 17th September 2024 at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to Wednesday 25th September 2024 at 23:59 (“End Time”).

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid. 

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS • Open to UK residents aged [18] years or over on date of entry. 

• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.
