No mention of the Support Group or contribution-related ESA on that list. If they have any income-related top-ups or disability Income Guarantee, Housing Benefit/ Local Housing Allowance.0

That is the part explaining who won't be moving and that isn't clear cut either. As it mentioned new style ESA contribution related not legacy contribution-related ESA with any income top ups or housing Benefit.

As far as I was aware everyone claiming old style ESA will be moving, those with an income related element will be invited to claim UC and those who only have a contribution based ESA will be moved/converted to new style ESA.Essentially legacy ESA will cease to exist.0

But when you use the link to New Style ESA a fortnightly paid benefit. It really has no different aspect other than you can't claim legacy ESA just New Style it basically a name difference

It may on the surface seem no more than a name change however there is one important difference, a claimaint in receipt of legacy contributions based ESA only could, if their circumstances changed enough to qualify, also start to claim the income based ESA top up.That is a situation the Government does not want to happen hence transferring those people to new style ESA.From that point onwards UC is the only income related benefit available for working age people.2
