Balanced Commercial Property trust buyout.

I have a fairly substantial holding in the above trust which has been bought out by a private company. I’ve held them in the BMO savings plan for donkeys years. Although I’ve had all the info on the buyout and the vote is yet to happen, given the premium offer price I assume it’s a done deal, although I’ve been unable to find when the expected date we will receive the cash payout? Does anyone with more experience have any idea? Thank you.

The trick with offer documents is to search for, “timetable.” At the moment it looks like it’s just, “Q4 2024.” Firmer dates will follow in a Scheme document.

  • I have these and expect q4.  I ve taken a hit on the capital so offsetting the loss on other profits.

Questor recommended aewu which I bought last week, c8% yield, tucked away in the isa.

    Received this morning:
    • The takeover also needs court approval at a hearing on 15 November 2024. If approved, the offer will complete on 15 November 2024. The cash will be paid on or around 29 November 2024.
I have also been invited to vote on the takeover

Just to wake this thread I recently saw my portfolio drop by an unlikely amount as BCPT shares had lost all their value. They are currently greyed out and have a value of the offer price. As per previous post about 2 weeks to settle while I think about something to do with the cash.
