Octopus estimated readings
I'm having trouble with Octopus doing estimated readings on my bills, when the prices change every 3 months and they always come within the higher charges. I've been in touch and they came back and say "estimated readings will be taken if they don't receive a reading". I don't understand this, I'm someone who stays up to midnight to take photos and always put my readings in. I don't know what I should do? I emailed my photos last time and they weren't interested. I'm a non smart meter customer and was moved over from Shell - who had no problems with.

I’m with Octopus too and no smart meter
I submit reading via the app and get a bill shortly after, never had an estimate never had a problem1 -
The 1st of every month, I read my meter the day before as a few kWhs either way makes very little difference,F1Fan said:
Can I ask when you put your readings in, especially when the prices change?MikeJXE said:I’m with Octopus too and no smart meter

My DD is set for the 1st and goes out within a few days
Bills are a bit slower when rates change Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct probably due to so many sending readings at price change points0 -
put the readings in online or via app once a month (1st) , no need for any photos, and a bill will be created2
