LPA reduced fee

My husband and I are starting to apply for LPAs, I don’t have an income so may be eligible for the reduced fee. I would have to write a letter stating that he supports me with his income. My question is whether they accept that or just say he has money so he can pay for it? Has anyone had experience of this situation being accepted or denied for the reduced fee? Thanks.

I know I would need to write a letter to say I have no income. My question is, given that my husband has no right to a reduced fee, will they actually give me a reduced rate? Because our government is notorious for treating married couples as individuals when it benefits the government, and treating married couples as a unit when it benefits the government!I wondered if anyone here has managed to get a reduced rate when their spouse does not qualify for a reduced rate - or if it has been denied them because of spouse’s income.0
