What is the Local housing allowance rate for your area? If its at or under that UC won't have an issue, if its over that then you will have to pay the difference."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0

Why do you think UC will complain? It has nothing to do with them, the agreement is between you and your landlord.
as noted elsewhere if this is privately rented the the rules are your UC will pay upto the LHA allowance,if its under this they will pay the rent and nothing more. If it’s over this then they will pay the max and you will need to cover the rest.
If its local authority or housing association then I believe they pay it all.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

There is no need to be concerned, as long as you can prove rent increase it will be met up to the LHA.
