Morning all
Bright and sunny here which is lovely but I have no washing to do which seems a shame, there is washing still on the line from yesterday so I need to get that in.
There was me saying back to work today only to get an email from Robs mum to say he was poorly and he would be off today but hopefully back tomorrow so an extra day off for me which is always welcome.
Dinner tonight will be sausage and mash with onion gravy and veg, there are some carrots and parsnips left from yesterday which I will use up and I will do some broccoli as well.
Dogs to be walked this morning and then I have a work meeting this afternoon, I have asked her if she wants to come a bit earlier she is due at 3 so hopefully she can come earlier and then the afternoon will be my own.
Have good days all and take care xx7 -
Morning, blue skies and sunshine here.
I'm off out to meet my friend who contacted me last week. We're meeting up for coffee with another friend, so a catch up afternoon. My friend can talk for England, so whether we'll get a word in edgeways remains to be seen. But it'll be good to see her.
Picky bits and salad for tea to make the most of the weather, and it'll be easy when I get in.
Have a good day.
Love to all x7 -
Hello all,
We returned from Crete on Saturday and had the family over yesterday for a belated birthday BBQ - definitely looks like the last of the season! I woke in the early hours with a pulsating headache - so bad I nearly woke DH to say goodbye - just awful. Managed to stumble downstairs for pain relief and water which helped a bit, but no way could I have made it into the office today. I'm still a bit jaded so will limit my screen time today. There is ironing to do and some tidying up as our house is being surveyed tomorrow.
Leftover BBQ for dinner tonight - in fact it will probably last a few days as we definitely over bought!
Wishing everyone a good day,

Good evening, hope you all had a good day ?
In Northamptonshire it’s been sunny and a tad windy but I’ve managed to get all the laundry washed, ironed and put away.
Took DD to the doctors then decided to wash the dog’s bedding and got that dry.Dinner has been eaten and washed up. Now having a brew.SarahTrying to change my life and will:money:8 -
Hello everyone
Late one from me today. It has been a lovely day here, bright blue skies and sunshine. After work I sat outside for a bit with yesterdays' Sunday Times.
Well, little one is back in hospital - Edinburgh Infirmary for a change! She hadn't eaten much yesterday, so by about 6pm DD had packed their things up and planned to drive back home with her, just in case she was getting ill again. She'd put her on her feeding pump - her tummy swelled up and was really hard and little one was screaming in pain....so she took her to the nearest hospital. Well, it had all taken a lot of explaining, so it was 3am before they were settled in a room. Little one had been upset at first because it was the 'wrong hospital with the wrong nurses', but she'd settled after a visit from two clown doctors ( which they don't have at 'her' hospital) A doctor has spoken to her consultant at Newcastle, she's on a glucose drip and they're going to try feeding her a tiny amount through her feeding tube, and see what happens. If she's ok she could get home tomorrow and, if not, she will be transferred to Newcastle. Bless her she was so excited to go back to school tomorrow, but the training has been cancelled and will have to be re-arranged when she is feeling better.
So....could everyone just get those fingers crossed again please!
DD says it's a huge hospital, one of the nurses had offered to take her to find some food for herself.
Dad was ok when mam went to visit him, but kept asking her to take him home.
Gers - my eldest DD in Germany sent me letterbox flowers for my birthday, they are always lovely and last for ages . See you all tomorrow x

More fingers crossed here. Hopefully she will get transferred to Newcastle again where they know her. Xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"5

Dp1 also keeping my fingers crossed that dgd is well enough to be transferred to Newcastle. Poor little one to have to go through all this, glad the clown doctors helped her to settle a bit. Thinking of you all especially your DD.5
