Question by Robin, UK on 08 Jun 2005 08:13
Is the YBS able to offer a credit card to match that of the Leeds & Holbeck (Morgan Stanley) with up to 1% cash-back?
Answered by Iain Cornish on 14 Jun 2005 18:57
Robin,
Your question is very timely as Yorkshire Building Society will very shortly be launching a credit card which I'm you will find more than meets your requirements. Details will be available on our web site as soon as the product is launched.

I saw a bit about it in the Daily Telegraph yesterday. Sorry, thrown it away, but it's obviously publicising itself now.0

It appears to be provided by the Co-op, with 1% cashback on first £2K annual spend, followed by 0.5% on rest of annual spend.
Cashback credited to mortgage account annually, or paid via cheque.
Google search threw up dozens of results, and I've linked to one below...
