Looking to repair the side mirror having cracked plastic
Options
unfortunately i hit my side mirror with the pillar while reverse parking in the parking lot.
Although it seems like all working, including the motor, side indicator and the sensors but the side plastic got crack and some pillar paint left on it, to remove the paint I think alcohol might work which i haven't tried yet but for the repair i am not sure if there is a way to maximum recover the plastic body without replacing it.
I have heard about the heat gun and glue as below, and out of which my research so far suggest that the blue glue will be the cheapest option, but as i haven't done this kind of repair before so a bit not sure how should i proceed, any suggestions welcome

I cracked mine a few years ago and it would have been a fortune to replace as it was all or nothing. I used some gorilla glue stuff i think and it lasted until the car was traded in. Unless it's a high value car, I'd just bodge it as best you can.2
